Here are five ideas to jump-start your creativity.

1. Business box. Several sites offer business cards, pre-inked address stampers, self-stick labels, phone cards and mouse pads for free with a small shipping charge. Most of the time, the items will arrive in a week to 10 days. Order one personalized item. Then, buy a few other office supplies, such as paper clips, pens, correction fluid and so on. Place these items into a Clementine box or larger recipe file box. This gift is wonderful for someone just starting his own business.

2. Tea Time. Look for flavored tea on sale. Many times you can find it for buy one get one free special. Then, purchase several pretty cups. Tuck a variety of tea bags into each cup. Add a piece of chocolate or wrapped biscotti to each one. Give to co-workers, neighbors or friends.

3. Snack stocking. Buy a stocking or gift bag and fill with individual bags of microwave popcorn, candy, nutrition bars, mini pretzels, chewing gum, peanuts and more. Any college student will be thrilled to receive one.
